Florida Gators burlap tote with wood dowel handles, probably 1970s

A feed-sack of a bag. Natural burlap, two wooden dowel handles, orange burlap gussets, and Albert in his red F sweater screen-printed big across the front over FLORIDA GATORS in red. Nothing about it is subtle and nothing about it was meant to be. About 14 by 14 by 6 inches, which is grocery-run size.

Pulled from an estate outside Gainesville, alongside a lifetime of Gators caps and bags. Small green maker's stamp inside, mostly worn; we couldn't read it with confidence. Probably 1970s, going by the Albert artwork and the construction.

Condition: Honest wear. Burlap is intact with the loose weave you'd expect and a few stray fibers at the seams. Print is strong with light fading at the edges. Dowels are tight in their sleeves. Orange gussets are clean. No holes, no odor. Photos are of the actual bag.
